Similar Social media creepiness happened to me yesterday. 2 of my coworkers popped up as suggested friends on fb despite me never looking them up. One of them I have in the contacts of my phone which I guess could associate data. The other I have never looked info up about online.
I also don't use the stock fb app on facebook, I use metal for android which is just a wrapper for the mobile site. So figured it wouldn't be listening or tracking proximity but I guess that k was wrong.
I don't like adding coworkers on social media like that except in firing cases.

I had a nice moment thinking about a 33 chatbox open to all BF members to join at will. Heavily moderated and logged of course.

thank god I didn't call him fat! Chris is ****ed.
also, bing probably uses cookies to track and prioritize pages you've previously visited. Though, we're pretty certain google listens to our conversations somehow as my wife tends to get adds pointed right at things we were talking about.

It's very possible they looked you up, linking you to them through their actions.

Also, if you want a tracker less (or at least better than Google) search engine, use duckduckgo. It's a decent search engine and has a lot better privacy policy than many other companies.
The age of privacy in tech is dead though. I've given up trying to conceal anything unless I'm trying to be really careful.

Been learning drums lately. For the past couple months been practicing every day on a pad and pillows and a basket. Once a week or so on a friends kit with him and another friend on guitar. Got 3 professional lessons this past week by 3 different ppl tryin to figure out who I should get lessons with. We will see if I have time for 2 hobbies!
Also flying out to Maui tomorrow. Weird. We haven't even been thinking about Maui with a Thailand trip coming up in a month!

@Doge Did you catch "Worst Retirement Ever 8.5 - Just the zip" yet? I'll admit to not watching parts 2-8. Drafting a camera SUV with a scootercam helping air leave him nicely looks totally legit though.

There's also a "if both of you share 200 of the same friends then you must be friends also" kind of thing.
I have yet to see a coworker pop up in my suggested friends feed even though I have my workplace in Facebook, and everyone at work is on FB. I don't look at their feeds, don't search them, etc, and apparently they don't do the same also.

I bought a Moka pot last night. Tried it this morning and like the coffee it makes. I had to put some additional water in there to make it a bit more palatable. I'd say somewhere between espresso and drip, leaning towards espresso strength.
So I guess I made a pseudo Americano this morning.

Over the years I have seen crashes caused by riders who don't know what they are doing, even though they may be fit enough to stay in the group for a time. Today it happened again. Large group, at least 25, and we were starting a climb when I flatted. I yelled out and moved right and began slowing when a new guy took out one of the women. She fell right in front of me and he fell into the other lane. Fortunately no cars came. She got a ride in an ambulance and I'm hoping she's home by now.
I know this happens in races but this is just a club ride. Sketchy riders should stay out of groups, stay off the back and observe, or, if they feel like King Kong, go off the front. I'm pissed off at this clown.

I'm in Anaheim for some work training. Staying across the street from Disney. Anyone have recommendations on places to eat or little things to see while I'm here? Not much time to do stuff but enough to go for a run or get a good dinner!
