the 36v will use less amps but will still produce the same speed as the 24v motor at 24v

Currie Direct Drive/500 watt
I have a Direct Drive Currie Tech/500 watt motor(24volt)18ah
I have never had a overheating problem..
my first season I was putting 11-miles round trip on this scooter..
I used it every other day..for shopping in the next town from where I live..
I was persistant about finding FLAT-terrain to drive on..
and I walk the scooter up hills..
===
If your over-heating I might guess your going uphill with the Bike..
===
I will use the Throttle to power the scooter uphill..as I walk alongside/[end]
