Reply to: sale-qxfgc-1861686308@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Used Fuji Road Bicycle, dates to about the mid 1990's, not sure what year. Its a large chromoly frame, center tube measures about 23", I'm 6'2" and it fits me great. Has Shimano 105 cranks, Suntour "Superbe" front and rear derailleurs, 12 speeds, tires are in good shape, everything works well. Asking $100 or best offer.

Unique '80s Shogun Katana on eBay.
Too big for me, but it piqued my curiosity because of the "GT" geometry. Is there a connection?

I'm pretty sure that without that little yellow jersey next to your name you're not supposed to post your own bike for sale anywhere on C&V. Nice looking bike though.

First rule of deals on Craigs List. Don't wait til the next morning, get in the car and drive (or someone else will). I snagged a super deal on a Trek that way, where the seller really wanted me to wait til the next day. But I went that evening. When I arrived, he told me another buyer was on the way too.....

4Rings is exactly correct. yuyax, you can make a mention of your bike being for sale in your sig, but can't otherwise advertise it without the yellow jersey.

Hans Schneider Custom Road Bike - $200 (Cambridge / Watertown)
Date: 2010-07-25, 8:16PM EDT
Reply to: sale-xvpwa-1862976156@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Custom Hans Schneider Road Bike
Custom steel frame, signed by builder, unknown size. Probably about 58-60cm frame.
Suntour Superbe Pro Components
- 53/42 175mm Cranks
- 7 Speed 13x21 cassette
- Continental 700x25c tires
- San Marco Rolls seat
- Avocet computer w/ cadence (definitely needs a new battery)
- PEDALS NOT INCLUDED
I have not ridden the bike recently, but it shifts and brakes fine on the stand. Wheels seem to spin close to true.
Asking $200 or something close to that. Make me an offer.

I'm selling my Schwinn Paramount Series 2 PDG road bike. It's a nice bike and is ready to ride. The frame is made of Tanga CR-MO double butted lugged tubing. The gearing is Shimano Exage 500 EX 7 speed, indexed shifting. The frame is 22 inches (55 cm) center to center. I bought another bike and need to sell this one.

That Turbo has been on Chicago CL for a while. Something about it always draws my eye.
I exchanged emails with the seller, he clearly knows his stuff. The asking price has come down a bit; I hope he gets it but it may be one of those things that are too rare and obscure to get a market going. There are at least two C&Vers out there looking for one, but maybe not here or not at that price point.
Wonder what one with its original seat AND lever hoods would bring?
