I actually kind of like how the Cobaltos look on it - are you thinking Deltas? Monoplanars would also look great me thinks.

Wouldn't it be nice if we really were in the running?

Good god... took a look at that, sweet!

Looked at the bidders and one has a feedback of 111043? Really?

That Laser is going to hit 10K I think. Crazy but it is in really nice shape.

This De Rosa has a lot of potential:

When someone in a country outside of the seller's shipping area *really* wants an ebay item, they can use a 3rd party broker that will pay Instantly if their client/customer is the high bidder at auction end, and then provides a legit shipping warehouse address. Good are received and then forwarded along to the end buyer, in whatever country they may reside. Again, totally legit and obviously a popular global option given that there are more than a few companies providing these services with huge positive feedback.

That's an amazing bike for that price...WOW. I'm shocked that's available after an hour.

Obviously the photos/add hurt price...as does the mixed group - but still, the frame alone is worth admission.

It has been on the St. Louis CL for more than a month now. I thought about going after it but his CL price is $1200, this auction is a lot more realistic (for cheapskates like me).

Honestly - I think 1200 is pretty reasonable for that, though I don't know what the St. Louis CL is like. Maybe make an offer?

I didn't notice it was a zero feedback seller, obviously that's going to effect things.

The seller didn't both to answer my questions other than say he would not sell just the componenets. Is anyone nearby to check this out? If the the cranks are longer than 170s I would love this for the parts. Then I could sell the frame or make some arrangements with a facilitator to dispose of the frame.

He will probably take $900 and maybe you can have him take it to a reputable bike shop for packing. Or, better yet, have a BFer facilitate. There is someone listed in the facilitators thread for St. Louis. I bet the seller doesn't want to be on eBay and went there as a last resort.

This looks pretty cool. If it was a slightly smaller frame, I would probably be bidding on it instead of posting it here:

Disclaimer: I DO know the seller, used to work with him at the bike shop. If you're a taller rider in need of a larger\bike, you could do a heck of a lot worse than this:

67 cm Schwinn Voyageur

He'd probably even be willing to ship. I've seen the bike and I can testify that the paint is in great shape and everything on it works great.
