Are *all* vehicles banned from Bridge Street? I can't think of any reason why you'd permit motor vehicles yet ban bicycles. What about horse drawn carriages? Motorcycles?

I'm guessing they shut down the central part of town and make it ped-only during the day.

I can see banning bicycles in market areas where cars have been banned as well. If you have ever been to an English market town during the day or weekends, there are clearly no place for bicycles as the places are full of pedestrians wandering at random.

Given the "wardens" appear to be marching down the middle of the street, I am thinking this must be a pedestrian-only route. Fair enough I guess.
