Montague Paratrooper as my main mtb?
I am in the market for a new mtb. I want a good one. I ride my mtb more than my other two bikes put together. I like folders. Would a Paratrooper work as a good mtb? I would use the bike for singletrack riding, and as my winter and off road bike.
Can these bikes stand up to everyday use, and do they ride good?

The frame is plenty strong for CX/singletrack. Designed to carry a soldier with all his gear/rifle so its overbuilt IMO. Components that come with it are junk and will corrode, fast. The best reason to have one is if you live in a tiny apartment (like me) or you drive a Mazda Miata and dont want to buy a rack. There are better non-folding MTB's for off road use in the same price range.....but if you need to fold a MTB you cant do better than a Paratrooper
