Attaching a mirror to a Dahon Speed D7

I want to live a pretty long full life and here in the Chicago burbs people tend to drive like ***holes. In order to you know see my kids through Highschool I want to get some mirrors for my bike and some lights to make me more visible. I don't do a lot of night riding so I figure the lights are kind of an afterthought at this point. Because people are such poor drivers I definitely want a mirror, what would you guys recommend that functions well and can still allow the bike to be folded. I know they make mirrors that attach to helmets and glasses but I would prefer to have it on the bike itself.

If you are concerned about visibility, don't overlook lights even if you're going to be riding mostly during the day. A lot of people recommend running lights during the day as well, to increase visibility.

+1. My favorite mirror. I have it on all of my bikes (all 3 of them), folding or not.

I have to get lights anyway--illegal to ride past dusk here without them. People get tickets all the time. Need to get the mirror first so I don't get run over during the day.

The Mountain Mirrycle is the best bike mounted mirror by far (I've tried a few). It also folds away well.

Have [COLOR=#000000]Mirrycle Mirrors on 7 of our 8 bikes (not an easy fit on the wife's Raleigh 20 with stock grips). Feel like we are riding blind without them.
