Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Holy crap. That. Was. Fun!

Absolutely destroyed myself, got what was a great result for me, got a new best 20 minute FTP and had an absolute blast riding down some rough roads I wouldn't have ever found otherwise. I'll try to give some more deets later.

That’s cause a lot of upstate folks have never had a good bagel. The bagels they consider delicious actually suck.

Same goes for pizza, they’ve never had really good pizza.

Bike looks cleaner than I would have expected. And that HR graph is impressive.

I don't get over to Park Slope very often. But, there are a couple of places out here in the wilderness that make a reasonable bagel.

Oh man, I hadn't even looked at the HR graph until you said that. I had my Garmin for turn notifications, but tried to ignore the numbers. When I did look it was basically "HR too high, power unsustainable, not enough speed."

Modern NYC bagels are an improvement, if anything.

Actually, I've been wondering this as well. Besides a tear, how do you know when to change it? (with the understanding that road conditions, weight, mu factor, all play a part)
