Nashbar dumping their touring bikes (Sale)
Hard price to pass up if you're looking for a cheap tourer...

The grouches will whine about the brifters, but hey they don't sell dinosaur food anymore either

It's not a true touring bike, IMO, but it would make an excellent commuter or day-riding bike. Too bad there's such a big gap between 49cm and 54cm.

Looks like roadie crankset, so brifters are OK for that ..
It's a commuter rig , until several parts get swapped .

The BD Windsor Tourist is at least $79 cheaper, and it's essentially the same bike.
If you're in a state where Nashbar charges sales tax, your cost is even higher ($727 for me, vs only $600 for the BD WT).

I'm a grouch with brifters and I love them. Before I ordered either the Nashbar or Windsor and if last years model wouldn't bother you, check with a Fuji dealer for a Touring. The price would probably be a little cheaper and you wouldn't have to put it together, or pay someone else to. I say this because that was the case when I got mine, but they didn't have the size I wanted. Sizes may be limited but in any event it could be worth checking into.
Some people on this forum say the Windsor Tourist and the Fuji Touring are the same bike, that may be as for the frame specs, but there are differences component wise. But they both go from coast to coast, as I'm sure the Nashbar bike will, so it doesn't matter, I reckon.
