Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There is no doubt you lose the backpack. It's not even close. Young and hip means young lawyer still using a backpack.

Its a trend, I'm 55 next year also. I can have a HSA, but can't all at the same time. Rules are can't have both a flexible spending account and a HSA. My wife signs up through her work in a flex account in June, my sign up period is in December. We would need to go without her flex account for 1/2 year in order to set up my HSA. Kindof a catch-22.

Young and hip also means you put your framed JD and Supreme Court certificate on the wall right away. Exciting, but tells all your clients you passed the bar two years ago. Young and hip.

Yeah, I assume litigation is very impression-driven. I used to do a bit of expert witnessing and I know counsel appreciated the fact that I played the part well.

I actually do have my MD framed on the wall. It's HUGE. Let's see if I can find a picture. It's also in Latin, just because.

Nope. It was in plain Philadelphia English. You got a problem wit dat?? The graduation ceremony itself was at the Academy of Music which is quite a grand venue.

I just put up my Dirty Kanza 5x finisher pictures and all my Iraq war pictures. My thinking is that it's a subtle way to say I don't put up with a lot of nonsense. But in reality I don't think anyone cares.

Or I would if we weren't playing musical chambers and switching offices every couple months.
