Anyone has experience of to which extent rim width affects tyre size? Do narrow rims make tyres thicker or thinner? I have a 28x1.65 (ETRTO 42-622) Michelin tyre clinched to an 18mm-rim that gives a 44mm-wide tyre inflated at 75% of max pressure. Wrongly labelled tyre or rim-dependent size?
