And although it was just dirty no thanks. WTF. Pay $20 for it and sink $60 in just descent tubes and tires so I can maybe get $150, and take forever doing it. I can remember buying a bike like that and getting a quick $80-100 for it.

Those are great bikes to ride, but not so much for flipping.

To me, this is fun and, for me as important, it is helping others "reuse" something. To that add that I live as a retiree, on a fixed income making resources ($) worth watching closely, jumping at a chance to have some fun and get paid for it. There is lots of time for me to play build the bike and, quite frankly, that $70.00 for my time spent is a pretty nice boost to one's cash flow in. I can, however, see why more wealthy people might see it as a waste of time. It is a lot of work, if you see it as work.

I have three bikes that I need to move, and one I refuse to take a low ball offer for. I won't turn down the right bike. But with space constraints, and three bikes I need to sell I am no bothering with it. I think the thrift store that had it sent it to another store.
