aceves - That is one of the coolest U08 builds I've ever seen!
I never even considered turning one into a path racer, but yours turned out perfectly, with just enough of that French flair.

Just in time for December, picked up this frame here in the FS area earlier this month. Had to wait on a Campagnolo derailleur cable router clamp from ebay for about a week and a half (I SWEAR I had one kicking around the parts bin at least a year ago), but finally got it put together last night. Already had one 1974 Raleigh bike with a sloping fork crown (Super Tourer), but had to have another, apparently. On the fence about looking into frame mods to better support the 650B thing. I kinda like the patina as is.
Also picked up a NOS Huret Challenger derailleur for the Huret dropout. Missing the plastic cover, but overall looks really nice. We'll see how she shifts as soon as we get some decent weather.
Bought a new Sunrace 7 speed freewheel (love the silver compared to Shimanos black cogs), but was burnt again. I have had really bad luck with Sunrace freewheels feeling really grindy when freewheeling. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

I got this mostly-black Centurion last week (and posted a thread about it). I'm leaning in favor of all-black, in part because it's considerably less expensive than replicating the black and silver scheme.
What I'm not sure of yet is whether to ask for matte, satin, or gloss. Any thoughts? I welcome opinions on this!

This is my 1977 Sekai 2500 Grand Tour, which I've owned since new. I've added a few bits over the years. The original Suntour Cyclone derailleurs still work perfectly.
