No riding today or tomorrow. It was 24F when I got up and its only 34F now. It may get all the way up to 41F later. Still too cold for us FL folks to ride.

I have a whole 15 miles for the year. I am really hoping that the weather Sunday will allow for a good ride. Looking promising. I've been riding so little that even the two short rides I did irritated the hell out of my residual and had me unable to put a liner on for two days. When I ride more regularly that subsides.

My bike is in pieces right now. It's O.K., but hasn't been ridden in a very long time. So, I've been working with some folks on the Mechanics forum to figure out a good approach. I have a list of (potential) parts, but have been collecting some tools that either never had or have long since been lost. Not a great bike, and we had some discussions about the worthwhile-ness of fixing up a Huffy. But I see a straight frame, with at least one bent rim, a lot of really sticky bearing grease, but parts that otherwise actually work. So I'm still not riding, but working on having something TO ride!

Is the rain ever gonna end? Haven't been out since 7/16. Appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and rain all week. No ride tomorrow either. Gotta go out of town to my next to youngest grandson's graduation party. Then out of town company will be here Saturday evening. He's a fisherman so maybe I can sneak out next week while he's fishing and the women are shopping.

Hey Ron, remember those plans I loaned you a while back on how to build an ark? Think maybe I could get those back? ;-)
