Do you wear sun sleeves?
Do they work? What color? Do you like them?
fortherecord: I started wearing white ones few weeks ago. You dont get sunburn. White reflects heat from the sun (?) and air goes right thru them, keeping you cooler. And there is the compression effect. But, like helmets, they are no fun to wear.

No, but I've thought about wearing them because I absolutely hate the sun on me.
Instead, I simply wear long-sleeved jerseys. Summer versions are rather hard to find, and somewhat expensive, but they do work great with the additional bonus of never getting lost.
All my jerseys except one are long-sleeved; the one that isn't had the coolest design on it so I bought it. I actually wear it a lot for everything <except> riding.
If I know I'm going on a long ride, like a fifty miler, and it's flat black roads in the middle of a summer day, then it's long-sleeved everything, and a cap underneath the helmet, and sun curtains on the side, goggles. It's amazing what a difference that all makes towards the later part of the ride. Dress for the Sahara desert and one feels they can go forever.

Of the pairs that I have, I like the Pearl Izumi more than the Sugoi, but I'm not crazy about either of them. I don't like my arms being covered at all-- long sleeve jerseys in the winter, ugh.

I started this year after having a "Suspicious mole" removed.
It gets crazy hot out here in Sacramento, and getting them wet really cools you down.

I just bought some this week after getting pretty burned on my last trip. I also have to cover my neck as it already has permanent red discolouration from sun damage.

I have a pair of white one. My riding is mostly in the early morning or late afternoon so the sun isn't as strong so I don't usually wear them. I wore them once last year. Can't say I was a fan. May be next time I'll wet them before leaving and use my water bottle to keep them wet during my ride.

I started wearing them last month. I've written about it. I also added a neck shade/gaiter, thing. They both seem to work to keep me cooler than without.
I thought about doing that, but what I found is that with the separate sleeves and short-sleeved jersey, the air can shoot right up into my armpits and help cool things off in there. I suppose my setup is not as aerodynamic as a tight, long-sleeved jersey, but I commute, and have made other concession for comfort and utility over speed.

Been wearing arm coolers for several years. No compression with current or first pair. Desired effect: Less sun/UV on arms.

I think they work best in hot, but not humid conditions. I used to wet them down first as well. However, since the FL summer is very humid I stopped wearing them. They just made me feel hotter.

I like them for long summer rides, I have white REI Novara sleeves. I will ride 8 to 14 hours with limited stops, so reapplying sunscreen is a pain. I was kinda shocked when I started using them how well the cool you down and protect your skin.
I'm planning a 24 hour ride in August, I'll be getting some for my upper legs before this ride. Might find something for my neck too, just haven't found anything that I really like.

Yes, white ones. They work pretty well - better than my lighter weight jerseys, if the bib-strap tan lined on my back are any indication.
Once you ride with them one or two times you don't really think of them as hot. Just keep moving.

Yes. Skin cancer for over 25 years so I cover everything I can. Have black, white and blue sleeves and just pick a color that contrasts with jersey for increased vehicle visibility. Actually warm in winter and cool in summer.

White ones from REI. Novara brand for $10. Flippin love em and they arent sold any longer.

I tried this when I was doing long runs. I need airflow on my skin. Feels like the equivalent of a jacket, which I don’t wear unless it is 55 or below. Didn’t feel one bit cooler, and I try to keep up the sunscreen, so little worries.

Moisturizer didn't help...
I have two pairs of summer weight long sleeve jerseys, same brand like my short sleeved ones. Help some, but didn't make the problem go away.
I got a pair of white sleeves for testing from Performance Bicycles.
They work well, no more itching. No sunscreen either (purportedly they provide SPF 50 protection.
They are cooler than the sleeved jerseys, because they seem to wick the perspiration better, enhancing the evaporation.
They do what I want them to do, so I like them.
I like my helmet too... It gives me a place to hang my mirror, I haven't tested its efficacy at its intended purpose. I hope I never do...

I went with an SPF 50 long sleeved t-shirt instead of sleeves and a regular jersey. The SPF 50 part is great, and you can douse the sleeves with water to keep cool. It does keep you cooler when the humidity is lower, but that's pretty much a constant regardless. Since the sleeves are a little loose, I had my wife cut and sew thumb slots at the end of the sleeves to keep them down over my gloves.
