Fantasy spoilers
In the annals of fantasy cycling, there are those riders who roll in with your hopes and dreams on their shoulders and end up leaving you unfulfilled. You just HAD to pick them, for good reason, but to no avail. Again. And again.
We've been going at it for a while here in the BF leagues, I may need to scroll back and risk a little PTSD in a walk down memory lane. In preparation for whatever game of skill and chance we can find to compete in a venue that escaped the watchful eye and blowtorch of ASO, who are the top vote-getters for being deceptively attractive yet notorious non-point-getters? For now, just off the top of my head:
Menchov
Zakarin
Tejay
Rasmussen
I don't believe Talansky featured as prominently on my teams as he did with the (s)pokes, but he is certainly worthy of being included.
I did have a let down or two with Ali Jet, and may God have mercy on Scarponi's soul and his parrot, but neither was a notorious sink hole for Velo$$.
