sagan, lutsenko, matthews and danny martin were the first four names that came to mind looking at the stage. i'll go with sagan but it could be any of a dozen riders.
don't forget about the rainbow jersey.

So everybody except Ahlaphilippe? OK, I'll take him, give me 3 to 1 (I'm generous, you picked 5) and let's talk turkey.

I say Teunissen opens up his suitcase full of courage and pulls another yellow jersey out of it. Or maybe it hangs tomorrow still in J-V on van Aert or the coat hanger. I don't see that threesome giving up the 20-30 sec for it to pass on to Ineos in anything but an all out GC blitz, and that's not happening today.

Ahlaphilippe won. Rabbit WINS for once and he had disc brakes.
Yellow jersey bonked, I don't know what happened with him.
I just watch the last hour after I wake up.

Wow. What a statement.

On another note -- I'm still looking for Nibali to sit up, lose some time, and become a breakaway threat like he floated to the media. Not today. Nothing spectacular about stage 4 for it, so he's not going to have a long leash for stage 5. Maybe he'll keep his hat in the GC ring until he sees how 5 and 6 go?

I've got offers in on a bridge in Brooklyn and some AZ waterfront, too.

julian mr. "i'll be there" is one of my fave riders. prob woulda been a 18-20 pointer in the usual format. matthews, the green bullet and sagan all shred as well and are comparably
priced usually. alaphilippe is the rider closest to valverde in the peleton (imho) and what valverde was/still capable of that can contest classics, (uphill) sprints and big climbing stages along with
breakaways and is arguably the most versatile rider in the peleton currently. those riders don't come along very often. wout woot may be one such rider...

I'm an Ahlaphilippe fan! Particularly now. I forgive him ripping the yellow out J-V's hands because he came through and won me that drink that I get to claim at some point in San Diego, instead of the three that I would have owed you if any of the other folks in the peloton had delivered.

Kruijswijikcksjjj will be thankful for the heat wave melting the snows of belle fille. Let's see how he does. I'm hoping for a Nibali-Valverde "get off my lawn" smackdown. If Nibali doesn't win there, I may ooze toward grouping with Menchov on my lists.
