merida crossway 900 or cannondale bad boy 2?

Hello,

I was about to buy crossway 900 from Merida when a friend of mine suggested me that i should try a cannondale bad boy bike before I do so. So I went to the cannondale dealer and tried it. It has more sporty riding position but feels as good as crossway and looks very neat. So the question is: which is best? An urban bad boy 2 with wider, cross tires (lets say 700x42) or a made to cross riding merida?

I bought a Fairdale Weekender Archer.

Has a comfortable riding position and has 37 c tires. It could accept up to 40 c without fenders.

If you like steel, its worth the consideration.

The BB2 is what's called the Bad Boy Ultra over here. It's basically a MTB with 700c wheels and skinny tires. If you swap on a 26" wheelset, you can run wide MTB knobbies. So with a 2nd wheelset,it's a true dual-purpose bike.

But the real test is which you liked better. If you liked the BB better than the Crossway, then that's the right bike. Either bike can be used on or off rode with mods,so the one that fit you the best and whose ride and handling you preferred is the correct choice.
