Don't kill the messenger, but yeah ...that sucks. When I lived in Phoenix the only houses with that much traffic were the drug dealers.

...............69-year-old Robert Borgeson. Borgeson spent nearly 10 years in prison for similar crimes. He was booked on a number of charges including drug charges.
There is a special place in HE (double hockey sticks) waiting for this guy.

Phoenix (or there abouts) resident since '67. Definitely a "grifter warehouse" in a lot of areas. Let me know if they find my Pogliaghi.

It's bad enough that the guy was dealing in stolen bikes and had meth/heroin on him.
But when he starts selling art we know that he has truly stooped to new lows.

19th Ave. and Thunderbird....that address rings a bell. Have seen it listed often on PHX CL. And some warning posts about a seller being a crook in that area.
At least there is some positive news that they finally shut him down.

That was my first reaction too...it hadn't last we spoke.
OFG has some truly marvelous bikes, so I try not to feel TOO badly for him.

Ugh, sad to see this bastard was operating for such a long time. Another reason I don't miss living in Phoenix at all! I hope the police try and return those bikes to their rightful owners.

This was in Toronto, and is regarded as probably the biggest Canadian bike thief

It's off of 19th Ave on Wood Drive. The front of the house looks like a flea market. Went there a year ago looking for parts and realized the folks there were on the scummy side and promptly left, did see a parted out Bottechia in the side yard on the way out but most of the bikes were junk. They were constantly flagged by others of their illicit business and manners, glad they finally got busted....

So was this guy the actual bike thief for all those stolen bikes/parts or was he acting as a fence?

to be so nonchalant about it is what's really disturbing.
you'd think having already been in prison, he'd atleast try to cover up his operation, rather than just throw it in everyone's face for the whole world to see

The Kids In The Hall had something to say about bike thieves in Toronto as well...
