ODD Mountain bike find
Picked up this mountain bike at one of the local flea market from a guy that sells scrap yard stuff. What caught my attention was the suntour pedals on it and when I started looking at it saw that it had some campy bits on it, I'm not very familiar with campy mtb stuff but I do know that it exists and didn't think I could go wrong at $25 bucks.
Welds on the frame look like "bubble gum" is this just a crappy frame that someone put some cool parts on? I see no serial anywhere. Bike has high flange ofmega hubs laced to some hoops I've never seen before(they just say "FIR"), ofmega canti's, a campy triple crankset, campy front derailleur, rear derailleur I believe it's a "Rally 3rd gen". Oh yes seatpost looks nice but it's stuck in there .

nice find- if you could only figure out any maker of the frame it maybe just as valuable as the components.
I think if you choose to part it up, the bike could fetch a lot of money just selling it off in bits.

Very cool find. How heavy is the bike? Is the tubing steel diameter or larger like aluminum - hard to tell.

That's pretty cool! Are you in Europe? Probably at least $200 worth of bits there.

It looks like someone put a Victory Leisure cranks, FD and Ralley RD on a midlevel Italian MTB. Where is this gem anyway?

Based on the welds alone I would have guessed low level model. The RD guard is something i've only seen on lower end modern bikes as well. I'd bet that the shifters and brake levers were original or at least closer to the original specs

That was my first thought based on the welds too, just wanted to make sure before I tossed it in the trash . Guards, I've seen some campy guards on pictures so I don't think a guard would necessarily be for a lower end bike.

With the way the cables are routed, I'm guessing the cockpit may not be original. Probably better to guess that when we find out how much it weighs.
