Bike Fast Fit app with videos
I've decided to start playing around with my fit and wanted a way to keep track of and analyze changes. I ran across DC Rainmaker's review of the Bike Fast Fit app, and thought it looked kinda neat. It's sorta like Retul, but $10,000 less expensive. Anyways, it takes video, and you can map out angle overlays on top of the video.
Here are the videos I took just messing around with the app yesterday. It's got measurements for the side & front. I took a rear video just because.

Based on the videos, I think I could raise my seat height a bit. It also looks like I need to get some heel wedges for my left foot. I've been having some ever-so-slight discomfort in my left knee, and it's evident in the videos that my left knee isn't tracking straight up-and-down . . . it's making a figure 8 of sorts.
Anyways, I just thought the app was pretty neat, and thought I'd share the videos.

I have a similar problem in that my right knee flops to the inside just about grazing the top tube and I sometimes get minor discomfort in that same knee. My solution has been to install a foam shim under the arch and under the foot bed. This keeps the knee tracking straight up and down. I also tried a 1 degree shim between the shoe and the cleat but I detected little or no difference. By way of experiment, I purchased some kinetic tape https://www.google.com/search?q=knet...50218681933644 to try out but have not been able to do that so no report on efficacy.
I'm no expert but I thought your saddle could be a bit further back.
