I'm looking for name/instructions for a unit that looks like the one from a post from 08-25-11 by 'seedsbelize'.

This forum is notoriously difficult to search. Can you post a link to @seedsbelize's post?

Plus, he's saying it's a post from 2011. I was going to take a look through Seed's posts but when I realized I'd have to go back through six years worth of posts, I bailed

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

Yes, no link, no search.

But it's a PUMP, how much instructions do you need?

BTW -I know Seedsbelize, and sent him a PM linking this thread, so maybe he'll respond and help the OP out.

This one? I had instructions at one time. I think it was an early Avocet. I'll look around and see what I can come up with.

I found the thread by searching google, btw.

My internet is for **** this morning. I think it's a PC9, aka Vetta 5, or 10.
Good luck.

Saint Sheldon answers all

(Schwinn) Paramount PC9

Calibration: F
Battery: CR2032

Setup instructions:
  1. Press right button to select ODO screen.
  2. Hold both buttons 3 seconds, until hour blinks
  3. Adjust current (blinking) number with right button
  4. move to next number using left button.
  5. Hour is 12 hour clock with no am/pm
  6. Minute is set when left button pressed
  7. Choose MPH or KPH with right button
  8. cad is cadence, blinking is off, solid is on and enables the cadence menu item (useless without 2nd sensor)
  9. wheel circumference in mm is the last parameter
  10. press left button one more time to exit
This appears to be a variant on the Vetta RT77 or C20.
(Thanks to BrianX)

I know it's pretty late, but I have found my original instruction sheet for my Paramount / Schwinn PC9. The document was water-damaged, but I spent a while with a sponge and knife, then with Photoshop, cleaning it up. I can email a .pdf copy. (I have sent one to the Sheldon Brown site, but haven't seen a response yet.)
