Will GRX 11-speed crankset work with 10-speed?

I have both a 10 and 11-speed Ultegra road bikes and want to be able to use a GRX crankset for bikepacking etc, to reduce the gearing. Will the GRX FC-RX600-11 (11-seed, 46/30) work on the 10 speed, even if not optimally. I realize I may need a longer or different deraileur.

I am using one with an 8 sp so yes. the chainline is out2.5mm, so you might need a new front derailleur

It probably will.

I am using a Campy Chorus 11sp 50/34 on a 10 speed Campy Chorus bike. I had to slide the front derailleur down a little. Other than that, it's been fine. I probably shortened the chain, I can't remember.

There is also a Shimano GRX 10-speed 46/30T crankset.

(I wasn't clear if you were asking for 11-speed so you could switch it around, but if not, a dedicated 10-speed crankset for the 10-speed bike presumably would be more optimal.)
