Today I (v2):

Today I am in Rome. Just got off the plane and going to see the city. Very few bikes on the street. Lots of motorcycles and scooters. the lane dividing lines are mere suggestions of where to drive and great for centering the vehicle as they nip the poor scooters!

I went to Rome once, crazy city. Cobblestones everywhere and the drivers are insane, so I'm not surprised there aren't many bikes. Still a really incredible place.

Today I did 43 miles with some hillies in the middle and it was fun. Some squirrels were playing suicide run across the LA River bike path though.

Today I finished my first week commuting on a fg bike. Last week I rode around my city on bike paths and streets for 3.5 hrs one day. Think there is something to not shifting! Have also been learning to use toe straps. Been a while since I used anything besides SPD's. At almost 60 and crunchy knees, nobody but me thinks this is a good idea!

Today I caught a huge med error. Over twice the normal dose for a blood thinner. They dosed it on the patients weight in pounds not kilograms, which could have been really dangerous.

Wow, that's quite the lapse in professional judgement on their part.

Nice work. My Mom is on thinners and I know the tiniest changes are critical. Sounds like what you found could have been fatal.

Might have saved a life. Kudos.
Painfully average.
Today I found out I'm getting flown out to Phoenix, AZ for my final job interview. It's gonna be my first time there and I'm entirely expecting the whether to blow.

The weather out here hasn't been too bad lately, just a bit humid.
