I am not sure of the value, but that is one fine bike!

I really should keep records of what I sell stuff for . If I remember correctly I sold mine last year for somewhere around $250.
Great bike but just kept getting lost in the shuffle. I did a double-take for a second when I saw your's....the saddle.
This is how mine was when sold.

Look like Exage levers, not Tricolor. $400?

Yes the brake levers are actually Dia-Compe.
And the calipers are 600 but not Tricolor.
I think I have both levers and calipers 600 Tricolor

Nice although not $400 nice IMO. I’m thinking $300-$350 with some prepping and staging: touch up some of the chips, more vibrant red bar tape, level the bars and pump up the tires. I don’t think the seatpost is doing it any favors either. I’d swap for a silver one.

These were made for just three years, 1987, 1988, and 1989. Made by Panasonic, so they will have an easy to decipher Panasonic serial number on the head tube along with Schwinn stamped date code on the metal head badge. I haven't seen a difference between the years, I've owned several over the years. Since they came as a frameset, I've seen a. variety of build outs.

I owned one for a short time. It was in pristine condition. I bought it as a frame set. Unfortunately in the end it was just too big. Sadly, because I really liked it.
