Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Forgot to mention I sold the steelie. $950. No shipping. I am delivering it near New Orleans when we go back in a couple of weeks. So two down and one to go. The Ti bike went up on eBay today. That Merlin CR Works frame is sweet.

Probably the only good thing the lockdown gave us was that there were less of them driving. Now they’re back

They would have hid the smudges pretty well.

I feel like I need to get some semi-obnoxious shoes. I really wish my Ronald McDonald Lakes were in stock.

Oh, and Bah Humbug, there are some folks on one of the CK2G boards that are getting in their 240mm Kono Fuji FMs in W#1 and they're coming in lighter than (they) expected, but bang on with what I want. I've contacted the shop owner and told him to contact me if any get returned. Now I'm tempted to start nudging some people on the boards to return their knives.

It's not a flat course; they moved a LOT of earth to get that turn 1 hill. Less famous than Turn 1 is the esses going into... turn 12 I think, which are uphill and curvy and don't quite stop your heart like turn 1, but you notice the effort. A lot.

It's a really nice course where a high effort will reward you with 20mph. Love it. Miss it.

I've got a Focusrite recording interface at the house that I use as a DAC for my desktop, running into one of those cheap class D amps that drive a set of bookshelf speakers. I rarely use that setup but it's definitely a treat whenever I do. I'm sure some audiophiles would listen in disgust but it sounds great to me.
Sounds complicated.

I expect cases to go up because more people are getting tested.
