My only complaint is that they tend to act like cork bar tape at times - they don't soak up sweat that much. If you grip them too hard for an extended period of time, you'll feel as if you have a layer of sweat separating you and the grip. Nevertheless, they're far better than a crumbly original set, or the lousy, plastic-based 1970's versions.
Come to think of it, I still have to get a set for my ladies' '51 Sports "C" Tourist. Never got around to finishing that one up.

There has never been a threadless headset with Shimano's name on it.
They refused to pay royalties to the patent holder and have since abandoned the market for contemporary headsets.
Just as well, as headsets become more part of the frameset with just a bearing cartridge to be replaced as needed.
Not to mention there are now a great number of different cartridges to be catalog'd.

ISO. Campagnolo Record spindle for a French thread bottom bracket... not sure if there's a difference between French and English as they both have 68mm widths.
HAVE. a lot of Campi odds and ends, and a lot of other things

Shimano STI clamp with the rectangular head bolt (I can use a recessed brake nut)....
Bontrager yellow gel bar wrap, more of a marigold, I guess.
Black SLR aero hoods (Exage/RX100/105/600)
Have:
105 Single pivot calipers (1050)
MKS Sylvan quill pedals w/chrome cages and Christophe clips, size M or S (not marked).
Clips have the leather trim on them. I'll never use 'em. Good condition.
Dura Ace Italian BB, Octalink triple. Everyone needs one of those.
Dura Ace triple FD, braze-on
Centaur FD, 31.8 clamp-on
Modern Veloce caliper set
DiaCompe GranComp non-aero levers, new black hoods
odds and ends..... more odds than ends.

ISO of some things to polish up my daily commuter.
- An old bell that works / would look at home on this bike.
- Chrome fenders (or just rear) for the same bike that'll work w/ 700c wheels.
- Lyotard pedal dust cap
- A pair or two of toe straps that are neither leather or nylon. Those woven-looking fabric ones.
- Clamp-on bottle cage, ideally one that might be pliable. Or just the clamps.
Some things I have
Carbolite Fork off an '85 Peugeot HLE 10. Straight, but rough paint in parts.
Huret Rival Front/Rear Derailleurs, and braze-on shifter levers.
These crappy Simplex shifters.
Also have a couple old 36h Maillard hubs, and one of those whinnying textured steel rims by Rigida.
Thanks for any help you can provide!

Contact Peter C. Kohler - he still has some reproduction '50s bullet grips for sale. $25/ea, IIRC. They're quite close to the originals, very comfortable, and quite durable. I have a set on my own '51 Sports "C" Tourist:
My only complaint is that they tend to act like cork bar tape at times - they don't soak up sweat that much. If you grip them too hard for an extended period of time, you'll feel as if you have a layer of sweat separating you and the grip. I saw those on C-List, I think it was those? The set I saw were almost identical to the set on my 51 Sports, the only differance was they had the "R" not the "R" over the "I" and they were about 4 dollars for the pair. So why didn't I buy them you ask? The seller is in Taiwan, and I smell a scam. Anyways can you tell me if they have at least the "R" (can't tell from your pic) and how can I contact Peter C. Kohler?
