New chain is noisy

So I've just put on a new chain cassette and crank but it's noisy like the chain is jumping on the teeth or something unfortunately it won't let me post a vid 🙄

The factory lube on a new chain should be good for some time. Since you describe the chain jumping on the teeth, I suspect that it may be as simple as tweaking your shift indexing. Also, could be that you are using the wrong chain. Some chains are unidirectional too, so you may want to check that.

Good luck. More info would be welcome.

Maybe if you asked the chain nicely it would let you post a vid of it Andy

Search for some rear derailleur adjustment videos.
Also, make sure the chain is routed through the derailleur cage properly. It might be accidentally on the wrong side of a retaining tab.

Are you sure you have the right chain to match up with the number of cogs on the cassette and crank? More details or a picture would get you better responses Check the width of the chain against your old setup.

I'll take a guess and say the new cassette is not in exactly the same position as the old one and the rear derailleur needs to be adjusted. Manufacturing tolerances and differences between brands mean the new cassette could be slightly further inboard or outboard enough to effect the alignment of the rear derailleur over the cogs.

Wrong chain, incorrectly sized chain, DR's need adjusting or worn out sprockets. Might be other reasons.
