Texan cyclist leads girlfriend on 15-mile route to spell 'marry me'

Maybe someone's posted this already, but I didn't see it here. Guy takes girlfriend on bike ride on route that spells MARRY ME on GPS.

https://road.cc/content/news/264628-...spell-marry-me

Points for creativity, but I would have been more impressed if he'd paused/stopped his GPS after each letter.

Having done a fair amount of STRAVA ART, doing as you mention "....paused/stopped his GPS...." will not improve anything since the GPS will still connect from point of STOP to RE-START.

https://www.relive.cc/view/2451714693 IF links are still working, this was my ride to produce below using stop/go

121 miles biked only shows 14 miles for completed art

I think it was recent, Seth Meyers did a funny bit about her reply "NO" only taking 2 miles Skip to 3:12 on the video below

That's very cool. Must have taken some planning.

Did you go back and do this again OTG with a longer route? I don't remember the tracking outside of the "crop circle" the 1st time - very cool.

Inspired by this thread, I did some route-art yesterday myself. It was my take on one of the most common drawing themes known to man, found all over the world on most varied surfaces.... so I think there is no need for posting it here, I'm sure you all have seen some of those before.

YUP. Changed a few things that added extra miles.
