Hi everyone. I recently bought 2 old Italian bikes from a local man. One is a Colnago Super Mexico (I think). I have no idea of its value or any real detail.

Any input on value or additional information about the bike would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. That is a Colnago Super from about 1981 or 1982. Excellent condition, great color, and clean, too. Probably worth around $1,200 or more.

appears as in “little use” shape. Has the text on the top of the seat stays... some Colnagos don’t follow convention.
Size is larger and will hold it back some.
this is a bike where tubulars are OK, even more desireable.

Older than 83 (sloped fork crown) or 81 (spooled chain bridge). It looks like a repaint. Looks to good for its age.

It just looks like it was hardly used and will make someone it fits very happy. Because of condition, it's worth upwards of $1000, but exactly where is determined by the tall guy looking for it
Judging by the chrome chainstay decal, it's an 80 or 81. They only used that feature a couple years.
