Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pump up Your tires

Advantage of hard narrow tires and mean riding bikes. Do it for your health.

www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/325948.php

"A new study in mice reveals the beneficial effects of whole-body vibration on inflammation and the microbiome."

I recommend a AL track bike on 20c @ 125 lbs. Under certain conditions the whole frame becomes a speaker.

For this therapy, I use my other hobby: guitar. Think Marty McFly, beginning of Back to the Future.

It depends. Are the mice Italian or English threaded?

Nah, 700x28 tires at 70 psi on chipseal. That's the prescription for harmonic vibrations that are an octave of the sun. Or maybe that's chocolate. Gotta ask David "Avocado" Wolfe.

I got you all beat. My first WBR. 23c tires, 110 psi. Light rain. 50 degrees. Light steel fix gear. Metal grate bridge. And naked - see WNB. My shivering was in perfect sync with that grating. Bike was almost un-ride-able.

Mice have a RHR of 600 bpm and run 7 statue miles per day, which is damned impressive for an inch long animal. They also have food-dar and the ability to chew through walls. I don't think we should read too much into this.

Do they come in 650? Those are perfect tires for an old 26" tri Cannondale.

I've only seen them in 700C diameter, but Velobase suggests they may have been available in 650C (571mm bead seat diameter) as well:

VeloBase.com - Component: Michelin Hi-Lite Comp

They've been out of production for many years, so it might take some patience to find some, especially in 650C diameter.
