Was previously riding my dad's GT. It's nice to have a bike that fits.

That fits? Are you, like 5'1", female or 12? Whatever gets you out of the house and on two wheels, but that doesn't look like it fits to these eyes.

Wow! That is a lot of intricate welding, forming and machine work there. How many hours did you have into building it?

You said you were "building from scratch" - - I've never known anyone who has built a whole bike from scratch before: forming and welding the tubes, forging and machining cranks and derailleurs, headset, stem, etc. How did you form the rims?

i have an anvil and a few good hammers. Most of my components are fashioned out of old horseshoes and railroad beams.

it started out as a Trek "Gary Fisher Sawyer" but due to my size and it's flexiness... it has turned into a Surly Karate Monkey, 22" frame Shimano dual sided pedals and yeah it rocks... I'm 6'6" and 265ish and it works amazingly well... love it...

PS yes for those who don't know... it is a 29 incher... I'll never roll on anything less now that I know...
