Suffolk County PD. I have all the information, and I'll be taking appropriate action. Thank you for asking.

Fortunately, my wife won't ride on the street, so all of our excursions (two or three a week) are on trails.
Thank you. I'm definitely not going to be riding the streets from now on. Apparently the officer didn't see me. Let's see what happens now. Making calls tomorrow, and taking care of business while I try to heal. I'm lucky I didn't keep moving forward, or else I'd have been under the vehicle. Apparently both of our wives have the right idea.

Police used a loophole to escape responsibility (since I didn't make contact with the car, which would have resulted in me having my head run over by a bigarse police SUV cruiser), so luckily my insurance covered most of my medical bills. I had to replace the handlepost, but otherwise this little bike is TOUGH!

This is the TWU Flight 800 Memorial from my last ride a few days ago. It's lucky to have escaped damage, considering the beach at Smith Point, LI is almost completely gone. (Last pic is of the bike... I didn't want to make her feel neglected)

Great pics and I'm happy to see that LI is lucky to have you exploring again.

I'm trying. Next month I'll probably be out of commission for a bit, but I should be out and about by summertime. Thank you!
