Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Find me gloves big enough to layer on my hands, and I'll start wearing two pairs for cold rides immediately. Until then, I'm lucky to find a single pair that fits at all. Two pairs? In my dreams.

I use two pairs of thin gloves, then when really cold just use ski gloves.

Heard good things about these, so I ordered some and got them in today.

I'll let you know how they work out, next time I'm out and it's too cold for these.

don't have those, I have the PI units mentioned above. they are warm for sure & because they only have a thumb finger they are easy to get on & off. if your thumb gets cold at the start of your ride you can tuck it in to the rest of your glove until it warms up. I've even breather into my gloves to help warm up the fingers. since I warm up as I ride, I carry a change. last winter cuz I have bar mitts I never had to use the lobster style gloves

I too am more committed to extending my cycling season further in to winter this year, and I am in the Chicago area.

I also have a thin pair of Pearl Izumi gloves that have been inadequate below 40 degrees, and a pair of thick gloves that are just too thick for dexterity and confident bike handling. So a couple of weeks ago I went out in 34 degrees with the thin PI gloves under a pair of fingerless summer gloves, and it was pretty comfortable. My fingers never got cold... My toes, however, were frozen blocks after 20 miles. Time to get some overshoes.

I like the dexterity and warmth combo.

If I owned a store I would try em all.
I like the look of these. I think I will give them a try.

They are nice quality and work well for my use/needs. Just know that the cuff isnt long. No sure why its short as that is the one thing I dislike.
It's a glove to keep you warm- add a cuff at the end!

They are totally manageable with the shorter cuff as my jacket is long enough, it's just odd to see that missing in design.
