Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help identifying older Ti frame please

I bought this bike a few years ago because I wanted a Ti bike that would last a long time. I have researched and read forums all over. However, being a small number of bikes initially, makes connecting the dots on mine a little difficult. I believe it’s a spectrum frame from the early 90’s but have nothing, other than speculation, to base that on. There is internal top tube cable routing and some nice seat tube detail. The grease guard BB makes me lean to Merlin and Spectrum. I bought it with Merlin decals, but anyone can slap those on a a Ti frame. It was also painted at one point, though it came off very easily when I decided to go that route.

my frame # is 216, I cant post pics or links until I have 10 posts, I'll see what I can do on that...

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
