Interesting tidbit about the Cannondale SuperX 2018 frame
It can clear 650x2.1 thunder burts no problem and the headtube is headshock compatible so it can take the lefty Oliver headset bearings. Wonder if Cannondale is preparing to offer the Oliver on more than one bike in the future.

Maybe they figured out charging $3000 for an alloy Slate is insane? Where did you find out about the SuperX being able to take 650x2.1?

Found it reading random ******. It was a pic of the orange/red frame with the oliver and Thunder Burts. The only thing is that the superx can take huge tires because the wheel is dished at 6mm offset. So whatever wheelset you buy will need to be re-dished for this.

This is not a real problem, to re-dish for my SuperX I shortened the non-drive side spokes .6 mm and lengthened the drive side the same .6 mm. Just 1.3 turns of the nipple.

Hrmm interesting. If a superx can take 2.2s, pretty sure my Focus Mares would be able to.

Mares CX frames are cheap right now and would totally get one if it could clean some burts.

You won't need different spokes to accommodate a length difference of less than a millimeter. When you build a typical rear wheel you'll get all the spokes in and tight without any dish and then dish it by loosening one side and tightening the other. A SuperX needs virtually no dish, the spoke bracing angles on each side are almost equal.
BTW I run 700 x 42 WTB Resolutes on my SuperX and there's just under 5 mm clearance to the non-drive side chainstay. More everywhere else.
