Darn it! I already booked a room at Alameda's in anticipation of this but now it looks like I'm not going to be able to make it this year. Too many prior commitments.

Registration site looks nice, much simpler and all is bundled.

Now I have to figure out if I can go........I am already going to montana for major class reunion (to get a flavor for which one when in marching band we were excited to add current song, Jerimiah was a bullforog)
I am all ready in the dog house for this trip in July, so adding another in Sept?

on the other hand I have time to get in shape, especially as I recently "got" retired.

and there is also the opulence of lodging in Hot springs to savor

Well this was going to be the year to do it for me and I even have leave scheduled. But....that dang but... Four straight days of riding has shown that my one knee is still not right. Pain throughout the ride and still not flexing right. I'm holding off until the next visit to the VA in May about this. If I get good news I'll look into it this year. The Team USA is chomping at the bit to do it and the Holdsworth is another candidate with some gearing changes. I so want to get up there to finally meet all the other forum members.

It's looking like this might be the first fall I may not be an elementary school teacher and could make it out from Minnesota. I'd love to ride Cino this year or soon.

A fine stinky French frommage covered in corrosion. A great place to convince your spouse to never tag along to a Cino ride again!

I'm in, so you all will have to put up with me for another year.

Bummer.

I hope that the knee gets better. If not, you can always drive up and volunteer.

That's the other kicker right now. If I'm in the car for around an hour it kills me. And I've got an earlier trip to north of there planned and am wondering if I'll be able to make the drive. Hopefully there's a recovery breakthrough soon!

I don't think I can make it this year. My heart and head are saying "boo hoo." My legs and lungs are saying "thank God!" The sag drivers are saying "well, that's one less carcass we have to drag in."

I do plan to be at the other September C&V fest, though. You know, the one in Cambria with the threads for people to not complain about it . . . .
