Is that a normal recovery TSS?

No surprise. I heard that you are taking a class from that jerk in Mechanical and Aerospace with a beard.

Sorry to hear that you can't make Ogden. That course would suit you well.

Veloboy does it "pro" style. His easy weeks are super easy. His hard weeks are impossible. I have only mastered the easy week part of the training regimen.

Not normally that easy usually around 300, but I was feeling pretty fatigued going into it and since I didn't have a race on the tail end of it I figured what the heck, I'm gonna take it really ez

LOL! Yeh it was a hard hard decision to make but taking all these exams on their scheduled date is bad enough, having to worry about taking any of them early is something I didn't want to deal with

Three or so miles of walking yesterday, including some hill climbs in the city. It was a good way to stretch the legs after the 91 mile RR on Saturday.

And the beef curry Hom Bow(?) I had really hit the spot!

39th Ave over I-75 from the west from a stop at the bottom? That is the only one I can think of that is like a hill repeat around here. Kind of short though, but enough to get your legs good and toasty if you hit it hard.

I think that I might be going to western NC in late June for a week with the family. I will most definitely take a "climbing weapon of choice" ... er ... oops ... I mean "a bicycle" with me if we actually go. I've done that before and there is some great climbing to be had around there.

Millhopper. It's actually an interesting one because the first section is short and steep, then you recover for ~3 seconds before hitting the next section. Just try drilling it as hard as you can sometime, you'll see what I'm talking about.

I-75 and 39th is more of a grinder. Too long to really be a super power climb.

Hey, you just need "super power" a wee bit longer!

I can see what you are saying. I have ridden Millhopper into town about a gazillion times and know it well. A few of those times it was pegging the needle, so I know what you mean. If I lived on that side of town I might consider doing some double repeats up the next hill to work on quick recovery and learning to meter hard efforts recognising that second one was coming up soon (bridge, catch, counter launches soon after).

last night was supposed to be a hard ride for me... a buddy asked me to go out and go easy with him so I said sure

we averaged 30 kmph over rolling terrain and a low Zone 3

not such an easy ride

5x4x2 that required strong will from the middle of the second interval forward. I was in my redlining-zone based on hr for the last half -- 2 minutes -- of the last interval, but, did not waver and punched it out. Is that adaptation?
