Nice 50 mile ride this evening. Even managed to hit a dog. Stayed upright and left him with his tail tucked and running. He ran out in the street perpendicular to us, slammed on his brakes to avoid the guy ahead of me, and slid into my wheels. That'll learn him. I hope. He looked a bit like Wyle E. Coyote trying to stop from going over the cliff when he realized I was there.

Never been on a cross bike in my life...
TT bike = road bike with funny handlebars that you pedal as hard as you can for about an hour at a time.
CX bike = road bike with funny tires that you pedal as hard as you can for about an hour at a time.

Somehow I think you'd be able to figure it out.

Considered yourself lucky Jed. Last count has us 0-4 on dog v rider incidents with a broken hip, a broken arm, and a concussion. We don't fare much better against Canadian geese either.

0-1.

If you were to research her power (as I did) it is the power to raise objects (in many of your cases "small") with a single look or movement...

Just bought a new set of clippers at Winners. Hoping to start saving that 30 bucks a month by cutting my own hair.

In other news, now that I have asthma (yay) the comet I just used to clean the bathtub has made me feel really dizzy and sick.

Or maybe it was the Resolve I used to clean the cat-barf off the carpet.
Or maybe the smoke from the fire in Ft. Collins.

I have bad seasonal allergies and exercise induced asthma. Bleach really bothers me, yet I can sit in a hot tub disinfected with chlorine for an hour. It's all about the concentration and airflow.

Congrats on the new wheels! Nothing like clicking refresh on the tracking page every 3 minutes.

I find out soon if I have asthma. Just did the 'methacholine challenge' test yesterday. I made it through all 10 concentrations of the mist but my lung capacity was down about 10% after the last one. Had to take ventolin after because it felt like I was breathing through a straw. Don't know if that qualifies me or not but the technician said he can breathe that stuff all day with no reaction.
