Suggested Online Retailers for FG/SS Bike Parts
I know citygrounds exists, but their selection isn't to great. Any other reliable suggestions? Thanks for your time.

I'm not supporting them in any way, but I've been tempted to buy a couple topcaps from them, their little cellphone bag/case, maybe a hat.
That said, their component prices just can't compete with Scrod.

Ok, I'm curious about this, whats up with MashSF? Has this been discussed before, should I be using the search function?

Sure they have some unique things that are worth getting but if the cyclinggod forbids that the USPSgod is vengeful and loses your package, you're on your own chasing the USPS. The most they will do is reply to your email with a oh yeah we're sorry for you but ultimately you're on your own; have a nice life.
I learned this first hand when I ordered one of those top caps from them. Apparently it is the norm.
And that's not the worst part. The time I visited their store with a certain "rare" blue cannondale track bike they kept pestering me to trade it for a midget 48cm silver one (which would be much too small for me) and how I could be all set and riding away with it today. I couldn't believe their nerve while I was a paying customer and I outright said no the first time around.

Their markups are unreasonable. If you plan on using the high cost of living in San Francisco I call BS because they're in some pretty cheap/ small digs off the beaten path. Their store is nook and cranny if anything.

as well as the aforementioned sources, try wheel and sprocket, coghouse, and citygrounds
none of them are gonna have super rare NOS njs C&V balleur parts but they have the essentials especially when youre first getting into it and dont know a bcd from a #kilott
also this:
bro you mean to tell me you dont want 2 feet of seatpost and a 4 foot saddle-bar drop with a 140mm stem?

Scrod Squad out in force, holla?
First...this thread proves that bothering to keep posting that old sticky index at the top of the page is a waste of bandwidth since nobody besides @Mumonkan paid even the slightest bit of attention to it
Next - I am an inveterate shopper and have a lot time on my hands so will always look all over for the absolute best price on just about anything I am after. Which means that Mash Transit does not get much of my business. However...occasionally I do like to buy some stupid thing or other, and have bought a few items there over the past year. I've gotten excellent service from them and they took care of the single problem that happened very nicely. YMMV...

The competitive cyclist deal bin is sometimes okay and chainlove is fun to look at if you are into that. Why didn't this thread get merged with the other one though?
