Are you a daily rider, do you ride hard always, what is an average distance and time frame of your rides? Solo, group?
Just curious.

Let's see... I've been riding 5x a week, with my long ride being 62-64 on SA, and 4 shorter midweek rides alternating between 23.5 and 35.5 miles. I always ride a medium or hard intensity - if I'm too tired for that I don't enjoy the ride and won't do it. I alternate which of those rides will be my fastest one during the week. Last week, my Monday and Tuesday rides were ridden fast; this week, I rode fast on Monday, medium on Tuesday, and medium hard today. Tomorrow will be a medium ride and I hope to ride fast on SA.
It's hilly where I live, so average speed doesn't mean much. That being said, my last month's average speed was 18mph and the average elevation gain per mile is about 90 feet or so. These are all solo rides.

Almost daily, usually between 16-30 miles (more on weekends), I try to push myself hard, which comes out to around a 17.5 mph average (mostly on a MUP, stopping for a million intersections, moms with strollers, all that), when I'm actually allowed to ride without stopping I go between 20 and 25 on the flats. Always solo...

I ride 4 times a week: Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Tuesday/Thursday. I'll ride 40+ on Saturday and Sunday, with a group, and at an average moving speed of 15-16mph. My Tuesday or Thurdsay solo ride is 23-27 miles with an average moving speed of 17.5. The Wednesday group ride is about 25-30 miles with an average moving speed of 18 miles.

Morning group rides on M-W-F of 26 miles, then I commute 11 miles to work and back each day. On Tue & Thur nites I "take the long way home" and usually do 34 miles. Weekends are for racing or long group training rides in the 50-70 mile range. I average between 255 and 320 miles per week depending on if I race that week or not. Average speeds vary greatly depending on the type of riding I'm doing. Morning group rides average about 22 mph, but can get really crazy around mid-week. My commute averages about 17 mph. My long weekend group rides average about 20 mph. Solo afternoon training rides average between 17.5 and 19.5 mph, depending on the wind and how I'm feeling.

Throw the stick!!!!
My rides vary from 30 - 60 miles. I try to ride 4 - 6 times a week. Ride time is from 1 1/2 hours to 4 hours. Average speed varies from 14 mph - 21 mph. How hard I ride depends on how I feel, who I'm with, and how bad of a storm is on it's way.
It all depends on the route and the people I am riding with.
I'm having fun, losing weight, and getting faster. I guess I'm doing something right.

I'll rest one day during the week and then ride the rest. Weekday rides are in the evening after work. I will do anywhere from 24 to 33 miles with some small hills and one long but not very steep grade. Usually average between 18.5 to 19.5 mph on these rides. A lot is dependent on the wind since there is a lot of wide open area I ride in.
Weekend rides will be from 50 to 100 miles and one day will normally involve several miles of around 8% climbing. Long rides will still be in the 18.5 to 19.5 mph range if there is no climb. I suck at climbing so the average for those days will drop to around 16 mph.
All my riding is solo with over 4000 miles logged on the roads so far this year. I am starting to mix in more max sprint efforts and longer high-speed (for me) runs into my routine to try and improve my speed. Doing my first organized century at the end of the month so I'm curious to see how my speed is riding with others.

Descends like a rock
Commuting (10 mi each way) gets me 100mi/week. I try to get 1 or 2 additional rides in a week that may be anywhere from 20-100mi. Most are in the 20-40mi range, but I like to do a longer ride (75mi-200k) on weekends when I can get away. Lately my commutes have a lot slower because of the heat. When the weather is nice, I like to really push hard on those.

I ride every day, unless something prevents me, like being sick, moving, etc. The details of the ride change every day. I like longer rides. I like to hammer. Sometimes I just like to take it slow and tool around from park to park. If it ever gets warm, I'll ride to the beach, swim a while, and ride home.

I'm new to riding (less than four weeks). I bike commuting every other day 28 miles each way and ride around 50 miles on the weekend - all solo. I try to ride hard (for me) but not to the point of wearing myself out. Once I got enough mileages under my belt, I might look to structure my ride for performance.

I took rode 7000 miles in 500 hours so I average 14 mph over the long term. I ride a lot of hills. I ought to be able to go faster, but I don't push too hard.
I ride about 100-250 miles per week. Not in winter.

Yes.
No. Recovery is necessary. Riding hard all the time will not make you fast.
One to seven hours depending upon what I'm trying to accomplish.
Yes.
