Huffy tires with light green walls

I picked up a Huffy Cranbrook recently. While I would like to comment on that itself, my first issue is that I picked it up because I though I could use some parts. The tires are in great condition, however, I would like white walls rather than light green walls. Does anyone know if this color is molded in or is it colored on top. I know, it should be easy enough to figure out on my own, however, before I start abrading or digging at the side wall, I though I would ask the collected wisdom of Bike Forums. If''n I don't get an answer by next weekend, I'll just remove the tire and dig in the sidewall myself, below the rim that is. If I can't use the tires, I may sell it or give it away.

The color is all the way through the tire. If you want white walls buy some. Maybe you can sell the green ones. Roger

Thanks, I think I'll have to find a better seat and sell it complete or just give it away. I did take the fenders. There is not much else I really want from it.
