The public radio show 1A, https://www.the1a.org, will talk about cycling safety on Monday's show. You can leave a voicemail at 8552361212, e-mail 1a@wamu.org, or use the VoxPop app. They probably won't take calls, so they'll only have public input pre-recorded. It's on Twitter & Facebook too. I excerpted the invite from the radio show, had to zip it to attach it. It's 58 seconds long.

I thought it was reasonable and fair. One of the participants pointed out that pedestrian traffic has increased in NYC without the concomitant increase in fatalities.

I'll take your word for it. It doesn't air in PDX until 9:00pm tonight. Thanks for the heads up though.

Thanks, I'll listen. If you like this, you may like the Bikesnob radio show which started a couple of months ago on WBAI.

You may have to go to their archive page and hunt for past episodes as it doesn't seem to show up in my podcast aggregator. While the Bikesnob show is a little less polished, it seems to really dig into the realities of bike commuting in NYC.

I missed the show, but I heard the local after show commentary session. It sure is different here in H-town compared to NYC or Portland, Oregon.
