Found new way to die on Brompton: T-bag
TL: DR T-bag strap can jam front wheel.
I usually do a preflight ,but when rushed that few minutes just doesn't happen.
Usually I tuck the strap without shortening into the handy mesh side pocket, when I have it extended.
The strap can fall forward and wrap the wheel, collapsing fender and stays -> sudden endo from very disadvantaged position.
To be avoided.
Small bikes have a distance between bags and road that I would not have noticed on my bigger wheeled bikes.
Front bags are not as common and don't get discussed as much.
Not that it is ever a good idea to have anything jam a wheel. Especially a front.
This kerfuffle caused a tangle, that almost required tools to get things rolling again .
Damage fortunately nothing that averting one's gaze and a few Tylenol cannot control. This time.
Stay safe

Thank you for that, my least favorite way to fall over is shoe laces wrapped around the pedal spindle. No matter how careful we are...
