Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

what kind of bike

I am looking to start riding a bike to school, (~2 miles away), and I also plan to ride on weekends with my friends and what not, I am 6'4 250 and I wanted to know what type of bike I should get, I've found a couple, but i'm not really sure. My price range is about $200-400, thanks for any suggestions in advance.
