Miyata 512 Value?
I found an older Miyata (1988?) and I was just wondering what would be a good price/ good deal/ fair offer on it. The bikes looks to be in decent shape and the fit will work but I haven't seen it in person yet. Pictures below.

Still learning
The asking price of $240 is FMV IMHO, given the clean condition of the bike.

If you go to look at this , check out the front fork. From the pic , it looks slightly bent . Could just be the angle of the photo, though .

Yes, fair market value.
if that is what its listed for, jump on it, assuming it works as nice as it looks.

If this is a rider for you, the price seems about right...seems to be a clean bike...and appears to be working...but...I would go see it, ride it...then make an offer...you can probably get it for a bit less...

My 1988 Miyata 312 was one of my favorite vintage bikes. Nice pick up on your 1988 512.

My '89 Miyata 312 is one of my favorite riders. It is a fixed gear, no flip/flop hub and was used by a road racer for training. It is super stable and comparatively light. You will enjoy that one!
