Dura-Ace SL-7402 shifter - help needed!
Here's the story: I resourced a pair of DA SL-7402 shifters off ebay a while ago in truly great condition. Upon installing, it turned out that the right shifter is missing a washer, therefore it has lateral movement, even fully tightened.
What I need is marked nr. 5 on the picture: https://www.flickr.com/photos/stronglight/3802736805/
Soo, if anyone has a spare (which is very unlikely...), or has the time and patience to measure it precisely for me (so I can get it manufactured), it would be much much appreciated!
Thanks!

Those shifters are hard to find. Perhaps if you include "parts" in an eBay search, you can find a set of those shifters that are incomplete, but have the spacer.
I'm not sure if that spacer is what makes the 8-sp Dura Ace incompatible with other Shimano 8-sp or not.
It may be worth a try just getting a pair of new 8-sp Shimano DT shifters and seeing if their spacer works.
Hopefully, some real mechanics will chime in, and perhaps you could try on the Mechanics forum, as well.
Many mechanics have lots of old parts they keep around for situations like this.

Thanks Robbie!
I'll def. try the mechanics forum. You can believe I've searched my a$$ off on US, UK and German ebay sites regularly for quite a while now before posting here... no such luck so far. Recently I'm tending to just buy another set, but they're not that very cheap ...

Bummer. Last spring, Loose Screws was blowing out those parts as part of their going-out-of-business sale. But now they're gone...
