You must be misunderstanding my attitude.
While I personally wouldn't consider the first bike C&V, I'm from the "big tent" school. I thought I was giving you a good-natured ribbing about it. Maybe you didn't take it that way.
Onward...
My Dr. Deltron bling... where the frame supplies most of the factor.
No. The 1970 Raleigh Professional is not radioactive.
but it does have a name.
bling, or merely a common tart or strumpet? Judge for yourself 1976? Raleigh Team Professional.
1984 Trek 760, done up in the old High School colors, and named for the school... Madison.

Well, if chrome = bling, how come no chrome wheels? No chrome cranks? I have a 1950 vintage contender....

Drops? I only have them on my touring bike and find them impractical for town use, which is almost all this machine ever sees. That said, these, Cinelli 'priest', bars are not very comfortable anyway and swapping them for a pair of drops might yet happen.
Why? You reckon they'd be better?

They're Soyo Pro-fessional Spurt Racing tubulars. A quick search turns up this site which ships to the US, by the look of it:

There should be a warning at the beginning of this thread: Use of sunglasses strongly advised! I'm still recovering.
