Ugh. A Powerbar is like a set of downtube shifters and quill pedals. I'm sure there are some old school fogeys who still swear by them, but advances have been made since they came out.

Personally, I eat Luna Bars. I tell the clerk they're for my wife.

I found a fully-wrapped one of these on a trail recently and ate it immediately (like most things I find on the ground). It was peanutbutter-crunch-something and it was damn good. I was pissed that women have been keeping them for themselves.

Didn't they use those when they shot a certain scene in Pink Flamingos?

I had a buddy of mine who liked to mountain bike and anyway, one of his hobbies on weekends was taking really small syringes and injecting minute amounts of botulism and powerful laxatives into energy bars through the crevices in the wrapper and leaving them on popular bike trails...

I wonder about Ensure, sometimes it's on sale, and once I was so sick I didn't eat for a week. I could not get anything solid to stay down, and frankly I was a little worried. So I decided to be clever, and got a bunch of juice, and Ensure. Ensure's good! It's creamy and smooth, and I think has a bunch of vitamins etc in it. (At the end of a week I decided to be daring and have some beef jerky, I figured I might not "keep" it for long but what the hell, but it stayed down and I got better.)

{QUOTE]Just cut them up into strips and stick them to your frame around the top tube and you can peel off pieces as you need. [/QUOTE]

wrong thread, slvoid. you need 'saw it but didn't believe it'.

other than that, this thread is making me ill. if it was between a powerbar and one of those whey-protein-shake things, i'd probably just quietly starve to death. between something that tastes like it's been excreted and something that tastes like it's been regurgitated, death looks pretty good.

You *do* know how to make one of those kitty-litter cakes, don't you? Somehow, I suspect you'd be someone who would vastly enjoy bringing one of those to an office party.

I just ate a Cool Mint Chocolate Clif Bar today b4 work and I was thinking to myself that it looks sans frosting like my turds that comes out after I finish a few pints of guiness.
