Of course it is. And I so happen to be the very happy new owner of it. I traded some of my spare bits for it - many thanks to Thomas & Nick at Keirin Cycles for making the trade happen.
It is a very early '79 (built '78), if I recall correctly. Jim ID'ed it in the Valuations thread a few months ago.
The wheels in the photos are Super Champion Gentleman clinchers - a second set of unmarked, gold, tubular rims with Campagnolo Record low-flange hubs were also included in the deal.
The only significant blemish is a horrid 2" scratch on the seattube, above the FD. As it happens to be in a decaled location, I believe I just might be able to touch up (and polish to smooth out the finish) this section, and apply a reproduction decal over the repair:
Arguably the most stunning bit of the whole bike - the rocket-ship seatstay caps:
Simplex SLJ RD.
Early Simplex Retrofriction levers (prior to the cutouts). Gold anodized, as with everything else.
The original, gold Simplex FD had a cracked band - shop replaced it with a Suntour. Nick from the shop says he'll bring the original by soon:

...and here I was, believing that it was a 93, as usual - should have noted the tapered arms.
If it rides as good as the PSV-10, I'll be quite happy (happier, for it'll shift right, as opposed to the STI Shimano 600 crap). Even with the clinchers, it is light as a feather - I wonder what they spec'ed for tube thickness.

Was the PY-10 even fancier? I notice it has extralegčre (extra light) tubing, and mine didn't.

"What makes the CP unique is that you had to custom order it from the dealer and it was built for you in Peugeot’s frame shop in France. So, this bike sports specific geometry and custom paint instead of the stock design and colors found on the PX 10s, which you could have purchased off the showroom floor from any Peugeot dealer."
I don't know how it'll ride, but it feels as light as a track bike as it is now, with clinchers on it. Haven't weighed it.

From a distance it looks like my 1980 PXN-10e (or whatever the heck it's designation) Super Competition.... until you look at all of the unique parts. Yes, that is a very fine bicycle. I am sure you are very pleased... unless it doesn't fit you, and then you would simply feel compelled to trade it for some spare bits I might have...
Where is the head badge? You know without it the aerodynamics will be way off.
